All About Me

Hey Friend!  I'm Mel from the STL and I’m passionate about helping others embrace a healthier lifestyle by sharing simple, sustainable habits that truly work. I started my health and wellness journey several years ago, facing my own challenges while navigating life as a busy mom. For me, it wasn’t just about weight loss; it was about finding balance and joy in my life. I successfully lost 100 pounds in just 8 short months and reignited my love for balanced living.

I adopted a lazy keto, low-carb lifestyle and discovered how to enjoy food without feeling guilt. Recently, I also started incorporating high protein into my meals to help me feel fuller longer, maintain muscle mass, and support my active lifestyle.

Along the way, I developed a passion for sharing easy, family-friendly recipes and practical wellness tips on social media. I've built a supportive community where we can uplift each other while focusing on our goals. I also published a cookbook, Hey Friends, Let’s Eat, which features 50 of my top favorite recipes that have not only helped me over the years but continue to support my journey toward a healthier lifestyle.

Fast forward to today, and I’m excited to have built a community that inspires and empowers others. Connecting with individuals on their health journeys, sharing tips for enjoyable cooking, and celebrating life’s moments is what I love most. I can’t wait to connect and support you on this journey!
