Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup allulose sweetener
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon sea salt (optional)
Chocolate -
1-Cup Lily’s Chocolate chips
1-tsp coconut oil
Melt until smooth - I used a double boiler
Directions:
Melt the butter in a small sauce pan. When the butter is completely melted stir in the sweetener.
Allow the sweetener to begin to caramelize, stirring regularly for 6-8 minutes until a caramel like sauce begins to form.
When the sugar has browned, carefully pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. The mixture will bubble, this is normal, just continue to stir the mixture.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and sea salt if using. As the caramel cools it will thicken.
Assemble Turtles
Whole Pecans (3-5 per turtle)
Arrange piles of pecans on parchment paper lined pan
Top each pile with Carmel sauce and refrigerate for 10min to set
Top each pile with melted chocolate
Refrigerate to set !! Store in an air tight container! Enjoy
